Subject: The Court, recalling the ECHR’s jurisprudence and in particular the case Marper vs UK, deems compatible with the rights provided for by the Charter and by the English law in the Human Rights Act the acquisition and conservation by the police of uncensured persons’ photographs taken during a public demonstration for the only purpose of “acquiring significant information” (“...significant intelligence value...”) according to the legitimate aim pursued.
