Subject: The Court has sentenced Italy, because it applies the chamber procedure in the matter of preventative measures (confiscation in the specific case), in violation of the principle of publicity of the procedure provided by art. 6 of the ECHR. Italy has been sentenced several times for the same reason, starting from the decision in the cases Bocellari and Rizza (claim n. 399/02, 13 November 2007).
