Subject: The Court are asked to rule about the interpretation of the directive 2000/78/EC, clarifying if this act does protect non-disabled people who, in the context of their employment, suffer direct discrimination and/or harassment because they are associated with a disabled person (discrimination by association). According to the Advocate general what is important is that that disability was used as a reason for a treatement less well, even if who is the object of discrimination has not a disability.
